About the Author

Author Lynda Wright came up with the idea when she was preparing to get married. 'Planning a wedding is like planning a military operation. Everything needs to come together at the right point on the day. When I planned my own wedding, I made lots of notes and lists with tick boxes and space to write in as the plans proceeded. Over a period of time I copied the notes for friends who were getting married and one friend in particular urged me to develop them further and write this Kit.

I wrote the information in a workbook style because it is the type of kit I would like to have been able to use to plan my own wedding and I felt sure it would appeal to others. Planning a wedding can be a daunting prospect, but it has been my aim to cover all the decisions and steps that have to be taken along the way to ensure its success.'
