Your CV is the key to opening up your career opportunities. As your first contact with a potential employer or client, it is vital that your CV marks your talents and experience effectively, convincing the reader that you have a great deal to offer them.

This book shows you how to create a winning CV and face interviews with greater confidence. Author Jill Dodds provides advice and examples based on her experience of working as a university careers adviser at De Montfort University, Leicester for ten years, where she advised students and graduates applying for jobs in areas as diverse as IT, law, the media, health care and scientific and environmental work.

CVs & Interviews Made Easy covers everything you need to know to successfully get you through the job-hunting procedure from researching your employer and creating impressive covering letters to making a good impression at interview. It also shows you how best to deal with application forms and other selection methods, such as psychometric tests and presentations. For those who want to change direction, make a mid-career move or are returning to work after unemployment, Jill Dodds also explains the strategies needed to make these changes come about.
