If you're a landlord based in England & Wales, by law, you must provide your tenant, within 14 days, the details on how their deposit is protected.

This Tenancy Deposit Protection Form ensures that you provide the right information to your tenant, and avoid liability.

The statement supplied by your tenancy deposit scheme administrator may not be sufficient. Lawpack’s Tenancy Deposit Protection Certificate ensures compliance.

If your tenant’s deposit is not properly documented you may not be able to obtain possession and you may be subject to a substantial penalty payment.

The Lawpack Tenancy Deposit Certificate is the most comprehensive available.

This form provides:

  • »  Contact details of the tenancy deposit scheme.
  • »  Your contact details or those of your agent.
  • »  How the tenant can apply for release of the deposit.
  • »  Information explaining the purpose of the deposit.
  • »  What to do if there is a dispute about the deposit.

Guidance on how to complete the form is included.

Valid in England & Wales only.
