If you're a landlord, you can give this form to the tenant at the start of the tenancy so that you have a written record of you and your tenant's obligations, how the deposit money is handled and how the agreement can be ended.

The tenant must be living in a room in a property where you, as landlord, are not resident. Under this agreement, the tenant has exclusive occupation of his/her designated room and will share the use and facilities of the house or flat (e.g. bathroom, toilet, kitchen and sitting room) with other occupiers of the property.

This download also includes Form AT5 (Scottish Notice of a Short Assured Tenancy), which you must also give to your tenant before the House/Flat Share Agreement is signed and dated.

When you download both these forms, there is also guidance on how to fill them in.

Valid in Scotland only.
