This tenancy agreement allows you to create an Assured Shorthold Tenancy for an unfurnished property in England & Wales, and sets out the responsibilities of the landlord and tenant.

From 6 April 2007, the deposit for all new Assured Shorthold Tenancies must be placed within a Government authorised tenancy deposit scheme. The landlord must provide details of the chosen deposit scheme to the tenant within 14 days of receipt of the deposit. Links on the deposit schemes are contained within the download.
