Ritchie to receive £32m payout in divorce case
Guy Ritchie will receive £32 million - including £12 million in cash - from Madonna as part of their divorce settlement.
Making up the remainder of the payment will be the Ashcombe House country estate in Wiltshire, worth £20 million. No prenuptial agreement
was signed before their marriage.
The film director will also be allowed to keep his pub, though Madonna will retain their family property in Marylebone.
Reports suggest that Ritchie could have been eligible for a far more sizeable chunk of the pop star's fortune, but he signed away his entitlement.
A friend of Ritchie told the News of the World
: "He never wanted any cash handouts. He agreed with Madonna's demands to keep the peace."
The pair finally parted ways in quick proceedings at the High Court last month.
Ritchie, who came to fame for credits on movies such as Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, is thought to already be worth £30 million.
