Robbie Williams signs prenuptial agreement
Robbie Williams married long-term girlfriend Ayda Field at the weekend, but not before signing a prenuptial agreement
to protect his fortune.
According to the Sun
newspaper, the Angels singer drew up the document to limit any divorce payouts should his marriage to the American actress fail.
The pair wed in an intimate ceremony in the grounds of their Beverley Hills home, attended by close friends and family.
Robbie has amassed a large portfolio of bricks and mortar assets during his music career, including two properties in Los Angeles and a mansion in Wiltshire.
He also has a sizeable collection of vehicles ranging from Rolls-Royce cars to yachts and motorbikes, as well as shares in Port Vale football club.
The 36-year-old is currently at number 28 on the Sunday Times Music Rich List with a personal fortune of £80 million.
A prenuptial agreement
covers ownership and responsibilities in a number of areas, including the matrimonial home, other property separately owned, joint bank accounts and maintenance payments during separation.
