Prenup agreements are becoming extremely popular with celebrities looking to secure their assets in case of divorce.
According to reports in the Daily Mail, celebs, wealthy business people, lawyers, accountants, bankers and brokers are all taking out prenups.
The documents, which agree on how assets will be split in the event of a divorce, are also popular among men and women entering into their second marriage.
Pre-nuptial agreements must usually be signed at least a month before a wedding but according to Vanessa Lloyd Platt they can often lead to stressful engagements.
"I even know of couples who have split up before making it to the church because they can't agree on the prenuptial agreement," the lawyer wrote.
Special clauses are often part of celebrity prenups and in the US couples usually include a 'no-cheating' clause or even a 'weight-gain' clause.
According to the report, the largest celebrity prenup was made between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and it is alleged to be worth £22 million.
If a divorce occurs it is believed that Tom will give Katie £22 million.
