Those who are looking to start their own business but are worrying about stock transfer forms or an employment contract may be pleased to learn that is it currently Enterprise Week in the UK.
According to Management Today, the event aims to help people with starting a business and last year over half a million people took part in more than 5,000 different events around the country.
There are currently concerns that the government is not doing enough to help the large number of small businesses that are struggling in the current economic downturn.
However, speaking at the launch of enterprise week, business secretary Peter Mandelson said: "Investment into UK entrepreneurs is vital to our economy … myself and my government will stand full square behind you."
At the beginning of this month, the Federation of Small Businesses warned that anyone running their own company may find they have to cut back some of their workers' hours.
